HIPRA introduced MHYOSPHERE® PCV ID in Japan at two launch events in Tokyo and Kagoshima. During these events, HIPRA also presented the new Hipradermic® UX, a cutting-edge technology for needle-free intradermal vaccination.
During the event, Nacho Bernal, Global Franchise Manager, discussed the latest trends in PCV and M.hyopneumoniae control. He highlighted key challenges and opportunities for better management of these important diseases. Also, he introduced MHYOSPHERE® PCV ID, emphasizing its cross-protection against all PCV2 genotypes and its improved efficacy in controlling mycoplasma lung lesions.

Joel Miranda, Technical Marketing Manager in Japan, discussed the advantages of needle-free vaccination, including enhanced immune responses, reduced disease transmission through needles, and improved animal welfare. Finally, Yuko Kamite, Technical Services in Japan, presented the new features of the Hipradermic® UX and conducted a live demonstration of the vaccination process.

The arrival of MHYOSPHERE® PCV ID marks a milestone for the Japanese swine industry as it is the first intradermal, needle-free vaccine for M.hyopneumoniae and PCV2 in Japan. These launch events also facilitated valuable connections between producers and veterinarians, promoting the exchange of expertise and fostering essential networking opportunities.
