From October 30 to November 3, HIPRA Korea organized an HIPRA University. It consisted of a roadshow with 5 different events, customer visits and open seminars.

Dr. Sjouke Van Poucke, who runs 'SYN plus', a pig farming consulting company in Belgium emphasized about the data analysis and stated: " The more unstable and less profitable market situation is, the pig farm situation should be accurately diagnosed through data analysis”.

Gabriel Alvarez Alvarez, Global Product Manager talked about VEPURED®, our vaccine against Oedema Disease, as well as an update of the worldwide prevalence of the Verotoxin. 

Alex Wu, Regional Technical & Marketing Manager, declared that HIPRA not only provides the Verocheck Oedema disease diagnostic service but also the Hiprastats service. Hiprastats is a very useful tool to analyze data, which is key for approaching the subclinical Oedema disease".

MinSoo Choi, Director of GwangHee Animal Hospital in Korea, exposed that “In November 2020, piglet deaths increased rapidly at a pig farm in Jeonbuk area, and the result was diagnosed as pig oedema disease. There are restrictions on the use of antibiotics, zinc oxide. By using VEPURED®, the mortality rate and other factors were brought back to the situation before the outbreak”. He emphasized that Data analysis can accurately determine the extent of disease damage and correctly evaluate the effectiveness of control methods.
