During the first week of March, HIPRA participated in one of the worldwide most well-reputed meetings for Swine Veterinarians, the annual American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV) meeting. The event took place in Denver, Colorado under the slogan “Be there, Be a leader” and HIPRA participated as an “Industrial Partner”.

On this occasion, Joaquín Miguel (Global Product Manager) gave an oral presentation of a research entitled “Evaluation of the vaccination during lactation with ERYSENG® PARVO/LEPTO in the follicle genesis, stress-related parameters, and analytes vs a non-vaccinated control group”. The presented study pointed out the safety of our vaccine and why the lactation is the best moment to apply this type of vaccine.

On the other side, Ramon Jorda (Global Product Manager) presented a poster entitled “Comparative performance study of three commercial vaccines against Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and porcine circovirus type 2 “ a field comparative study carried out in Canada. 

HIPRA has also participated in the AASV with a “Tech table” in the Exhibition area, having the opportunity to meet veterinarians from USA, LATAM and even Europe and Asia.

This initiative consolidates HIPRA’s commitment to be present in the swine sector by offering innovations, continued training and networking in the porcine industry.
