HIPRA presents two new vaccines for poultry farming in Spain

Aves

Connecting prevention in poultry farming with Smart Vaccination is a concept whereby not only do the vaccines act as a means of prevention, but they also provide information.

As well as administering the vaccines, the vaccination equipment also performs functions of traceability and transmission of information, which adds value to the process.

HIPRA has added new vaccines to its Smart Vaccination range: EVANT®, a vaccine against avian coccidiosis in broilers that incorporates the innovative adjuvant HIPRAMUNE® T and GUMBOHATCH®, HIPRA’s first immune complex for the prevention of Gumboro disease.

Both vaccines are regarded as “Smart vaccines” as they incorporate RFID technology.

HIPRA also presented the development of its coarse droplet aerosol, Hipraspray®, and the adaptation of the system for broiler hatcheries.

Two new products were launched in 2019: Hipraject® for subcutaneous injections in chicks and Hipratracer in Ovo, a traceability solution for hatcheries where “in ovo” vaccination is used.

The range of Smart Vaccination products has been extended with HIPRAlink® Vaccination 2.0, completely revamped software with new functionalities for both the hatchery and for the recipient of the vaccinated chicks, including the administration of vaccines in the hatchery with a unique vaccination certificate.

Once again, HIPRA strengthens its commitment to the poultry industry as the reference in prevention for diseases such as coccidiosis and Gumboro
