HIPRA was in Taiwan sharing with local swine vets and the country’s farmers local experiences and the latest published studies with our live PRRS vaccine in the different Asian countries.

Present in almost all Asian countries for two years now, UNISTRAIN® PRRS vaccine has proved to be a reliable choice in the fight against  the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) virus.

All this is thanks to the safety and the broad cross-protection that this vaccine provides against different PRRS strains, including the ones circulating in Asia.

We organized two different events, (in the central and southern areas of Taiwan) bringing together a total of almost 250 veterinarians and farmers working in the Taiwanese swine industry. 

Thanks to the collaboration of two key opinion leaders (Prof. Dachrit, of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and Prof. Chiou, of the National Pingtung University, Taiwan), the attendees were also able to hear from them the latest research and their personal experience in the control of PRRS and with UNISTRAIN® PRRS in particular.

Thanks to this kind of initiative, UNISTRAIN® PRRS, with the support of the HIPRA swine technical team, strengthens its position as leader in prevention in both animal health and PRRS disease.
