HIPRA HELLAS celebrates 20 years during its participation at the Panhellenic Veterinary Congress

From 31st of October to the 2nd of November, HIPRA HELLAS participated as a Gold Sponsor in the 16th Panhellenic Veterinary Congress held in Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki (Greece).

The congress brought together over a thousand veterinary professionals from across all species: poultry, swine, ruminants and companion animals. HIPRA HELLAS’ booth became an important meeting point that attracted numerous visitors interested in learning more about the company’s solutions and innovations, while also exchanging insights and experiences related to animal health.

Alongside the congress program, on 2nd of November, HIPRA HELLAS organized a symposium titled “Mastitis Under Control: The Role of the Μodern Veterinarian in the Management of Udder Health in Dairy Cows”. 

The session featured renowned professionals, Pr. Evangelos Kiossis (Professor and Head of the Farm Animals Clinic at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Dr. Konstantinos Themistokleous (Co-founder and CEO of Neurohine). Both experts showcased microbiological findings from dairy cows over recent years in Greece, including data on both clinical and subclinical mastitis, and milk quality indications across conventional and robotic milking systems. 

Grigorios Stavianis (Technical & Marketing Manager HIPRA HELLAS), focused on the urgent need to prioritize mastitis prevention rather than relying solely on therapeutic control. His presentation highlighted the importance of proactive strategies in udder health management.

The congress coincided with the 20th anniversary of the HIPRA’s subsidiary in Greece, the HIPRA HELLAS team and some colleagues from the global team, marked the milestone with an internal dinner event. Celebrating two decades of growth, collaboration and commitment with animal health sector.
