HIPRA strengthens Mhyosphere® PCV ID in Mexico

After several years since the arrival of Mhyosphere® PCV ID in the country, HIPRA MEXICO continues to reinforce the presence of the first needle-free intradermal vaccine against Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and PCV2 with an exclusive event that brought together leading professionals from the swine sector.

The event, held on September 30th at the Banyan Tree Puebla hotel, gathered more than 20 specialists and representatives from Mexico’s leading swine industry companies to discuss the latest developments and trends in disease control, reaffirming the interest in innovative solutions that enhance animal health and welfare.

This occasion featured internationally renowned speakers such as Dr. Albert Rovira, professor specializing in large animal diagnostics at the University of Minnesota (USA), who presented the latest updates on PCV2 and PCV3; and Maria Pieters, Principal Investigator at the Mycoplasma Research Laboratory and Director of the Swine Disease Eradication Center at the University of Minnesota (USA), who shared the latest trends in controlling Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.

During the event, HIPRA’s team—comprising Jaime Maldonado, Scientific Marketing Unit Senior Manager; Gonzalo García, Technical Manager; and Ignasi Guix, Digital Health Global Product Manager— also emphasized the importance of implementing technology and needle-free intradermal vaccination. They also presented the results of the latest field studies on the vaccine and key aspects for PCV2 diagnosis.
