HIPRA participated in the 22nd World Veterinary Poultry Association Congress, held in Verona, Italy, from September 4th to 8th. As a Diamond Sponsor of the event, HIPRA exhibited with a prominent booth which was converted into a platform for activities designed for all the delegates attending the congress.

The week started with a welcome event hosted at the Hotel Parchi del Garda, located by the picturesque Lake Garda. This scenic venue was chosen to welcome 170 professionals from the poultry industry in various European, Asian and African countries. During the event, HIPRA presented the MIX TO WIN concept, a unique in-ovo vaccine combination against coccidiosis (EVANOVO®) and Gumboro (GUMBOHATCH®). Additionally, the event featured a presentation by Jose Eduardo Dos Santos, Executive President of the Poultry Organization of Rio Grande do Sul State, who spoke about the curiosities of the world of chicken meat and market trends.

Within the framework of the congress, HIPRA held a Satellite Symposium that was open to all the congress delegates. HIPRA’s team, in collaboration with Professor Damer Blake, an expert in Parasite Genetics at the Royal Veterinary College, talked about the current costs of coccidiosis and the keys to successful control through vaccination. In addition, HIPRA presented 14 scientific publications covering the most relevant therapeutic areas and gave three oral presentations.

Once again, HIPRA strengthens its commitment to the poultry industry and further consolidates its position as a leader in hatchery solutions.
