The subsidiary organized three HIPRA University events with the veterinarians of two of the most important pig producers in China: Wens Food Group and Haida Group
 

On the 28th and 30th May, HIPRA visited the Southwest branch of WENS, one of the biggest producers, with a total of 180,000 sows, and the Headquarters of Division 1, which has a total of 680,000 sows. On the 29th, the company visited Haida Group, in the city of Guangzhou, with a total of 125,000 sows.

During the meetings, Ming Hsun Wu (RTMM Asia), Tianning Yang (TS HIPRA China) and Joaquín Miguel (GPM – Sow Franchise) reviewed the most important factors of neonatal diarrhoea control such as the infectious agents, sow and piglet management strategies, farm facilities, and the solutions that HIPRA provides with SUISENG® and its package of services, including the latest local field experiences.

Among the information shared, the company took advantage of the occasion to provide attendees with the new book “Navigating Swine Health: A Guide to Neonatal Diarrhoea”.

Neonatal diarrhoea is a multifactorial disease, which is why its control needs a holistic approach.
This helps not only to minimize the incidence of diarrhoea, but also to wean more piglets and with a higher quality, getting the most from the farrowing area.

With this initiative HIPRA CHINA reinforces its position leading the control of piglet neonatal diarrhoea in the country.
