Last December 2020, HIPRA presented three posters demonstrating its ruminant vaccines’ efficacy under field conditions. The abstracts were presented at the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases (CRWAD). The conference activities were held virtually from Chicago (USA) during this 100th edition.

The first poster showed animals vaccinated with HIPRABOVIS® SOMNI/Lkt increased their average daily gain by 214g, therefore reducing their days on feed by one month.

In addition to this, mortality and antibiotic treatments associated to bovine respiratory disease were reduced significantly in vaccinated animals.

Two further abstracts demonstrated the efficacy of HIPRABOVIS® IBR MARKER LIVE to block IBR viral circulation and to prevent from new infections under field condition, even in the presence of infected animals within the herds.
