This study showed PREVIRON® anti-anaemic preparation had a beneficial effect in all haematological parameters evaluated, satisfying all iron requirements of suckling
piglets at the time of weaning in a commercial farm. Therefore, this iron treatment on 3-day-old piglets can be used to prevent the development of IDA as well as its clinical and productive effects on piglets.
