The 4-hour program opened with Marie Oosthuizen, TMM HIPRA South Africa, conducting a remarkable talk about gut health management with a Coccidiosis perspective. Joan Molist, Global Product Manager Poultry at HIPRA, followed with a presentation that approached the coccidiosis vaccination with the focus on broilers.

Hicham Fathi, RTMM Poultry at HIPRA, provided his expertise about post-vaccination management and follow-up, a key part to ensure the effectivity of the process. Joan Molist also took the opportunity to share HIPRA’s around the world experience in the avian coccidiosis vaccination with the live vaccine EVANT® and its innovate oral suspension spray for chickens application technology.

To conclude, Louis du Toit, Species Technician HIPRA South Africa, and Leon Muller, KAM HIPRA South Africa, provided the attendees with valuable information about the HIPRA South Africa Services.

After the presentations, before closing the event through a dinner with live music, we had the opportunity to connect with our clients and learn more about their experiences and exchange insights on the discussed areas.

South Africa is a top country in chicken production, and the leader in the African region, with more than 1.2 billion broilers produced per year. Since South Africa is an important strategic location for the poultry sector, HIPRA organized this event with the aim of sharing its extensive experience about poultry health with key local practitioners. As well as improve our knowledge about the local trends while connecting with our clients in insightful exchanges.
