The Ministry of Industry and Tourism of the Government of Spain, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, has recognized HIPRA as one of Spain’s “excellent” pharmaceutical companies. The company ranks among the top ten firms in the sector following the resolution of the 2025–26 Profarma programme call.

With this recognition, HIPRA achieves the highest excellence category alongside eight other pharmaceutical companies: Grifols, Almirall, Insud Pharma, Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Rovi, Pharma Mar, Bayer Hispania, GlaxoSmithKline and Lilly. A total of 54 companies applied, including 22 with Spanish capital and 32 with foreign capital. 

This year’s Profarma call aims to “promote and recognize industrial capabilities, R&D&I activities, public-private collaboration, the creation of high-quality employment, improved exports, and efforts in social responsibility and the ecological transition”.
