Vaccination of piglets with VEPURED® reduces mortality and the occurrence of clinical signs of ED. VEPURED® improves growth performance of pigs and guarantees the presence of protective seroneutralizing antibodies against VT2e up to the end of fattening in farms with ED.
VEPURED® is a new single-dose vaccine developed to protect piglets against Edema Disease (ED). A multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, field trial was performed to evaluate its efficacy.
