The results in groups 3 and 4 are those expected according to their epidemiological situation. The percentage of positive animals in group 1 is 64% in all ELISAs. In group 2 this percentage ranges between 35% and 47%, according to the ELISA used.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the use of CIVTEST® SUIS ADV, CIVTEST® SUIS ADVgE, CIVTEST® SUIS ADVgB and two other commercially available competition ELISA's to detect antibodies against Aujeszky’s disease virus (ADV) in serum samples from wild boars corresponding to different epidemiological situations.
