HIPRA had the privilege of receiving the visit of the management and scientific team of the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA) to continue the strategic collaboration agreement that both institutions have been carrying out for several years. With the aim of exploring joint development opportunities, the IRTA representatives toured the company's facilities to learn about its high production standards and daily operations.
The agreement between IRTA-CReSA and HIPRA aims to promote innovation and development and improve the technologies applied to the swine sector, taking advantage of the experience and knowledge shared between both institutions.
The current project has been consolidated in an industrial doctorate on improving efficiency in the diagnosis and use of tools for the control of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), one of the biggest health challenges currently facing the sector.
