HIPRA celebrates the second edition of the HIPRA UNIVERSITY “Producing a High Quality Pig at Weaning”

The second edition of the HIPRA UNIVERISTY “Producing a High Quality Pig at Weaning” was held during the second week of November. The meeting, which took place at HIPRA HQ (Amer) and lasted two days, was attended by around 50 veterinarians from 12 different countries.

The program, focused on the most important challenges to obtain a high quality piglet at weaning, with a holistic approach that encompassed different very relevant topics such as: the preparation of the sow in terms of management, nutrition and immunology; farrowing and farrowing management; or the challenges for the control of different pathologies that were given as a quick talks. 

The event was attended by internationally renowned speakers such as Luis Sanjoaquín, Jordi Baliellas, Francesc Molist and Sjouke Van Poucke, as well as speakers from HIPRA's regional and global team.
