Registered in the country in 2023, UNISTRAIN® PRRS has demonstrated success after a year of field applications, prompting HIPRA to organize the "New Approach on PRRS Control" event. Additionally, HIPRA introduced a Japanese version of "The Book for PRRS Knowledge," adapted and translated by Dr. Satoshi Otake.

The session commenced with Dr. Yugo Watanabe, an independent veterinary consultant from FAITES, discussing key strategies for PRRS control. Joel Miranda, Global Franchise Manager, presented UNISTRAIN® PRRS, highlighting its safety and efficacy against PRRSV2 strains. Dr. Satoshi Otake emphasized the critical role of biosecurity in PRRS management, specifically addressing the role of needles in disease transmission. Ming Hsun Wu, Regional Technical Marketing Manager, introduced Hipradermic® and its advantages in needle-free vaccination.
