On October 3rd and 4th, HIPRA participated in the Incubation and Fertility Research Group Meeting of 2024 (IFRG) in Antalya, Turkey, where more than 90 participants from 20 countries gathered.

The event was organized around the presentations of three well-known keynote experts on the poultry sector. Dr. Anais Carvalho (INRAE) delivered a compelling talk on “Rooster fertility: diagnosis and conservation”; Dr. Dinah Nicholson (Aviagen) shared her expertise on the “Development and Updates on SPIDES” and Dr. Servet Yalcin (Ege University) provided valuable information on “Impact of incubation temperature on meat quality in broilers”.

In addition to the relevant topics discussed, HIPRA also played a great role in the IFRG Meeting 2024 as the only laboratory to have a study accepted as an oral presentation.

Sergio Mesa, Global Product Manager at HIPRA, shared the recent results generated by the Global Hatchery Health Program (GHHP) in Spain by Agustín Vila and insights from Marc Tomás, Data Analylist at HIPRAstats, on the importance of the injection site for in-ovo vaccination.
