From July 16^th to 19^th, HIPRA had the honour of participating at Porkaméricas 2024 Congress, one of the most important events of the swine industry in Latin America, which was held in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) and was attended by more than 2,500 guests from different countries around the world.

HIPRA had a stand at the congress presenting HIPRADERMIC UX, an innovative device for swine vaccination which aroused great interest among the attendees. In addition, Lidia de Lucas, Global Product Manager at HIPRA, gave a talk within the academic programme of the congress on the Porcine Respiratory Complex, addressing the main problems and solutions in the management of this condition. 

In the context of the congress, the company organized a private event entitled “New Tools for the Control of Mycoplasma and Circovirus” with around 70 participants. 

The event was attended by recognized experts such as María Antonia Rincón, (MVZ, Mc, PhD) Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia; Álvaro Ruiz, (MV, PhD) Associate Professor in the Dept. of Pathology and Preventive Med. of the Universidad de Concepción; Jorge Osorio, (MVZ) Consultant and Pig producer and Gonzalo García, Global Product Manager in HIPRA, who shared their knowledge and experiences on the latest innovations in the control of these diseases and Mhyosphere® PCV ID.

HIPRA's participation in Porkaméricas 2024 ratifies its leadership and commitment to continuous improvement in animal health, offering advanced and effective solutions to the challenges of the swine sector.
