The control of the viraemia is essential for the posterior PRRSV consequences, so demonstrate the reduction of viraemia conferred in vaccinated gilts with UNISTRAIN® PRRS was the principal goal of the study. The transplacental transmission of field virus to piglets was also evaluated.
