Again this year, HIPRA took part in the “Jornadas de Porcino de la UAB y AVPC”, which was held on 25, 26 and 27 January 2017 in the conference hall of the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Barcelona (UAB).

This annual informative event is organized by the Veterinary Faculty of the university and the Association of Swine Veterinarians of Catalonia (AVPC).

Besides being a sponsor of the event, HIPRA contributed a presentation by Jaime Maldonado García​ on the role of vaccines and autovaccines as alternatives to the use of antibiotics in the swine industry.

With this initiative, HIPRA reinforces its message of commitment to the industry with regard to the prevention of infectious diseases by means of vaccination against a background of regulatory changes and changes in the use of antibiotics in livestock production.
