Through vaccination with ERAVAC^® (vaccine against RHDV2), rabbits can achieve immunity in only 7 days post-vaccination.

Thanks to the haemochorial placenta, breeding does can transmit antibodies generating a passive maternal immunity.

Rabbit haemorrhagic disease type 2 also affects young rabbits which show high susceptibility and mortality. An early vaccination against RHDV2 should be applied to immunize young rabbits.

ERAVAC^® can be administered at 30 days of age, even with the presence of maternal immunity.
