When looking at the aetiology of porcine respiratory complex (PRC) during the growing and fattening period it is evident that the worldwide picture is of great concern. There is evidently a general immunosuppression of the pulmonary system caused mainly by the infection of several viruses, bacteria and mycotoxins which predispose the animals to other primary or secondary pathogens producing combinations of several pathogens.
