The world's largest annual poultry industry event, IPPE (The International Production & Processing Expo), made a welcome return as a live show in January 2022. Based in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), the innovation-focussed trade fair this year hosted over 8,000 international visitors from 130 countries.

IPPE was the setting for the launch of SmartVac™ – the most advanced in-ovo vaccination device on the market. Developed by leading supplier of integrated hatchery solutions Royal Pas Reform, the Expo allowed HIPRA to present itself as bio-tech partner for SmartVac™.

SmartVac™ has been designed to guarantee 100% injection into the amniotic fluid – maximizing embryo safety during the process. It allows vaccination with HIPRA's range of gumboro and coccidiosis products, without compromising hatchability results, or risking product wastage.

HIPRA’s representatives at the event were led by Rodrigo Paranhos, Regional Director for America and Livia Soares, in-ovo Project Manager, amongst others. The Royal Pas Reform stand was without doubt one of the best attended at the show, customers from numerous companies from all over the world visiting to find out more details of the advantages of SmartVac™ at first hand.
