On 4th July last, HIPRA launched two new vaccines and two new vaccination devices for poultry farming at an event entitled Connecting Poultry Prevention.
HIPRA presents 2 new vaccines in Barcelona and 2 vaccination devices for poultry farming
The "Convent dels Angels", a unique 16th Century convent situated in the heart of Barcelona was the setting chosen to welcome over 150 poultry professionals from different countries in Europe, America and Asia.
This is a concept whereby vaccines not only achieve prevention, but also provide information, and vaccination equipment not only administers vaccines but also traces and shares information, thereby generating greater added value to the process.
HIPRA has expanded its SMART VACCINATION range with 2 new vaccines: EVANT® vaccine against avian coccidiosis in broilers which incorporates the adjuvant HIPRAMUNE®T, and GUMBOHATCH® vaccine, the first immune complex from HIPRA for the prevention of Gumboro disease.
Both vaccines are covered by the term “intelligent vaccines” as they have RFID technology incorporated in them.
During the event, HIPRA also presented the development of its coarse spray application equipment, Hipraspray®, and the adaptation of the system to broiler hatcheries.
2019 also saw the birth of two new items of equipment: Hipraject®, for subcutaneous injection in chicks, and Hipratracer in Ovo, a solution for traceability in hatcheries where “in ovo” vaccination is used.
The SMART VACCINATION range has been expanded by Hipralink Vaccination 2.0, completely revamped software that incorporates new functionalities, both for the hatchery and for the recipient of vaccinated chicks, and that includes application of the vaccines in the hatchery in a single vaccination certificate.
All of which guarantees the success of vaccination and affirms HIPRA as the reference in prevention for poultry health.
