On 9th March 2021, HIPRA Thailand presented AVISAN SECURE®, vaccine against avian salmonellosis, for the first time in a virtual event.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, HIPRA Thailand has been following the government’s rules with major concerns for customers’ health, which is why it has introduced a new way of connecting with customers: an interactive website that introduced attendees to the Salmonella prevention world.

The launch was a real success with more than 200 attendees registered from 28 different companies.

The event was divided into 3 main sessions. The first session was given by Dr.Niwat Chansiripornchai (DVM, MSc, Ph.D., DTBVM), President of the Thai Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (TAVLD), and Professor (Associate) at Chulalongkorn Veterinary School in Thailand, who reviewed the basis of information on Salmonellosis.

The second session focused on the European perspective on Salmonella and was given by Mª Soledad Collado Cortés, Head of the Service of Veterinary Programmes in the Animal Health Department of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

The last session was given by Lívia Soares, Corporate Technical Manager at  HIPRA in the Poultry Business Unit. Lívia presented AVISAN SECURE®, a vaccine produced using double emulsion technology, designed to prevent salmonellosis.

HIPRA Thailand always try to bring innovation to the market, not only  in  products  but also in customer service, offering different and effective alternatives to overcome the pandemic situation.

With this new online initiative, HIPRA strengthens its commitment to the poultry industry as the reference in prevention for animal health.
