Risk factors associated to C. difficile

Clostridioides difficile  is one of the most common causes of enteric disease in neonates’ piglets. Despite the importance of C. difficile associated disease (CDAD) in swine medicine the risk factors have not been extensively investigated.

The objective of this article is to discuss some of the known risk factors associate with CDAD.
