HIPRA PHILIPPINES celebrated the HIPRA HATCHERY ASSEMBLY ROADSHOW with the objective of reinforcing HIPRA’s reputation as hatchery experts. The roadshow was held in different regions of The Philippines and included the participation of almost 150 people nationwide, including hatchery managers, veterinarians and consultants. 

The events aimed to raise awareness about the variant IBDV field circulation and the need to use vaccines like GUMBOHATCH to reverse the situation. The combination of GUMBOHATCH with HIPRAVIAR ND BROILER (COMBOHATCH) was also promoted.

All the seminars followed the same structure. The first presentation, conducted by Sergio Mesa from HIPRA, focused on explaining the trends for a good quality DOC. This was followed by an introduction by Marta Busquet from HIPRA, discussing immunosuppression linked to the circulation of field IBDV virus in Asia and specifically in the Philippines. The subsequent presentations were performed by external speakers from a genetic companies (Dr. Roy Sagpao fom Cobb_Vantress Phils and Dr.Jorge Villa from Aviagen ASIA), addressing key points related to DOC quality in hatchery or breeder farms. Finally, Joel Tolentino from HIPRA PHILIPPINES delivered the last presentation, reviewing practical aspects and outcomes of the services that HIPRA offers both at the hatchery and in the field.
