At HIPRA we have launched to the market NASYM, the first intranasal and intramuscular vaccine against BRSV.

Registered on July 29th by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), this vaccine is now available in several countries within the European Union.

Cattle professionals can now benefit from this prevention tool which significantly reduces respiratory clinical signs and viral shedding due to Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV).

Intranasal & intramuscular routes can be combined in 1 protocol

NASYM can be applied either intranasally or intramuscularly, and both options can be combined in the same vaccination protocol.

This combined protocol allows vaccination from an early age (intranasally, at 9 days) plus an intramuscular revaccination that provides 8 months of immunity.

In addition, NASYM can be applied in older calves, from 10 weeks of age, by an intramuscular route.

The reduction of respiratory clinical signs and viral shedding for BRSV, together with its FLEXIBILITY in application and protocol make NASYM a powerful tool to fight the disease.
