HIPRA sponsors the first international course on “Understanding and controlling dairy ruminant mastitis"

Rind

During the theoretical and practical course, the attendees, who numbered over 40, had the chance to broaden their knowledge on the subjects of immunology, microbiology, management, welfare, prevention, epidemiology of the main causative pathogens of mastitis in ruminants and on the latest developments in the field of mastitis prevention and control.

In addition to this course, a session aimed at Italian veterinarians and farmers was organized on Friday 8 September. This was attended by over 100 people from all over the country.

In the course of the week, the need to work on mastitis prevention, both in cattle and small ruminants, became clear, and the importance of using all the tools available to achieve this was highlighted. These include vaccination.

With activities of this kind, HIPRA confirms its commitment to training veterinarians and reinforces its positioning as a leader in prevention.
