The use of the 2 inactivated vaccines can be an advantage in avoiding possible failures of vaccination as well as obtaining a better average titre of antibodies. The use of a single dose of inactivated vaccine may pose a risk to the homogeneity of the level of seroconversion of the birds
The objective of this study was to determine the serological behaviour of a commercial product, an inactivated vaccine against Salmonella enteritidis (SE) and typhimurium (ST) in an injectable emulsion, with a commercial ELlSA kit, Salmonella Group D Antibody test kit, Biochek (Holland), using the vaccine in different vaccination programmes against Salmonella enteritidis.
