HIPRA organizes a roadshow in the Netherlands entitled “IBR eradication, what can we expect for 2018?”

HIPRA Netherlands organized four technical sessions under the title “IBR eradication, what can we expect for 2018?” with the participation of Dr. Evelyne Van De Wouwer (regional physician Oost DGZ Laboratory, Belgium), Dr. Vincent Robles (HIPRA corporate) and Dr. Martijn Seelie and Dr. Jessica Hartjes (HIPRA Netherlands). The event was attended by professionals involved in the dairy cattle business from all over the country.

The veterinarians took the opportunity to update their knowledge on IBR control plans and to discuss with experts various topics related to experience of the eradication plans in Belgium and the usefulness of Seromilk Marker, a diagnostic tool for bulk tank milk monitoring of IBR supplied by HIPRA.

Of special interest was the strategic use of vaccination in order to control viral circulation. Also presented were the vaccine’s key features and the results obtained with HIPRABOVIS® IBR Marker Live vaccine as regards the reduction of clinical signs and reduction of shedding.

With these IBR sessions, HIPRA continues to consolidate its position as a leader in prevention, bringing to market distinctive and innovative products and diagnostics for Animal Health.
