There will be those who have received complaints from poultry farmers of increased respiratory signs and mortality after 30 days or who have received complaints from the slaughterhouse for increased lesions in carcasses of aerosacculitis and colisepticemia.
Regarding broilers, less attention has been paid to this disease compared to the approach given to the control of other respiratory diseases. However, the situation appears to be evolving due to the global decline in the use of antibiotics in the poultry industry.
Therefore, it is essential to take this disease into account in vaccination programs. In this sense, the HIPRA team stands out for its extensive experience in the management of this pathology.
